Bus Carrying Devotees Overturns in Himachal: One Dead, 25 Injured

The bus was carrying devotees from Jalandhar in Punjab and was on its way to Shah Talai in Bilaspur district after to Peer Nigah in Amb.

A bus accident took the life of one and 25 others got injured. The bus carrying devotees overturned on Tuesday at around 10 pm in Bangana area.

The bus was carrying devotees from Jalandhar in Punjab and was on its way to Shah Talai in Bilaspur district after to Peer Nigah in Amb. One of the devotees from Punjab’s Phagwara, died on the spot. The identity of the deceased is yet to be disclosed.

While the police narrated about this incident, it mentioned that among 25 devotees sustained injuries, one was left with broken leg.

Shortly after the accident came into notice, local administration and police team arrived at the spot. And, the injured were taken to the nearby hospitals.

DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) Ajay Thakur said that the injured had been admitted to the hospital at Thanakalan, the regional hospital is in the Una.
