While the gun firing occured, not only Monu Puri is reported injured but also Tarun Bathla got the gun wound.
Firing has been reported in the Maksudan vegetable market in Jalandhar in which Monu Puri, a BJP leader got injured.
Reports claim that a Panchayat meeting was called in the market to resolve an old dispute between two parties. During this, a side opened fire and senior BJP leader Monu Puri was shot in the legs. He immediately was taken to Satyam Hospital.
As per the information received, both the parties met to resolve the long standing issue. And, BJP leader Puri went into the matter to settle the issue. However, as soon as the discussion began, it turned worse.
Reacting to this, member of one side started shooting randomly. While the gun firing occured, not only Monu Puri is reported injured but also Tarun Bathla got the gun wound.
Upon receiving the information, police officials immediately reached the spot, and initiated the investigations. The officials have said that the CCTV checking are underway and the accused will be held shortly.
