Sonu Sood Says Modak During Ganesh Chaturthi Is Fitness-Approved: ‘It Has God’s Blessings’

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has once again installed Ganpati Bappa in his home this year. On this auspicious day, actor Sood had a conversation with the media persons. He shares his joy and excitement, he everytime feels on welcoming Bappa.

He shared that he still remembers his first experience of bringing Ganesh Ji home 28 years ago. Sonu said, “I went to pick up Bappa from Andheri station on a bike. At that time, I only prayed that Bappa’s company would never leave on this journey. Today when I stand with you all, it feels like the prayer asked from Bappa was answered.”

Sonu said that Bappa is the remover of obstacles, who always shows the way and removes troubles. When asked what superpower he would want from Bappa, Sonu said, “I want Bappa to give strength to everyone so that the problems of the country and world can be eliminated.”

About eating modak, Sonu said, “I don’t think about eating modak in between fitness because it has God’s blessings.”

Wife Sonali handles all Ganesh Festival Preparations

While an actor was asked about the preparations going for Ganesh Festival at home, he said that his wife Sonali handles all responsibilities from Bappa’s Sthapana to making prasad and selecting dresses. Sonu said, “She does everything so well that I don’t have any tension.”

Sonu Sood on his career front has gained much recognition, significantly for negative roles. His name even got more fame after his films including ‘Yuva’ in 2004 and ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’ in 2005. He has also worked in Jodhaa Akbar and Dabangg which was released in 2008 and 2010.

After he played the role of Chedi Singh as Villain in ‘Dabangg’, his position strengthened in the Bollywood. He has been also awarded for the Telugu film ‘Arundhati’ which was released in 2009.

He also owns his production company “Shakti Sagar Productions.” The actor reportedly also remains in highlight for humanitarian works, and has also been honored by the United Nations for the same.
