A 24 year old woman who claims herself victim while giving a statement at the time of lodging complaint mentioned that Ashish Kapoor, his friend and the friend’s wife with two more individuals sexually assaulted her.
Delhi Police on Wednesday arrested popular TV Actor Ashish Kapoor after he was charged under rape case. It has come out that the offence was committed in Delhi’s civil lines during a house party.
Considering the sensitiveness of the matter, Police officials are investigating. DCP Raja Banthia gave a statement, “We have arrested the TV actor Ashish Kapoor from Pune.”
What is the case about?
A 24 year old woman who claims herself victim while giving a statement at the time of lodging complaint mentioned that Ashish Kapoor, his friend and the friend’s wife with two more individuals sexually assaulted her.
She added that she was raped inside washroom at the party venue. Further revealing, she allegedly claimed that even a video was recorded.However, the authorities have not got any video or footage yet.
Initially she named all four persons, however she then revised her statement and blamed only an actor Kapoor. Continuing her words, she noted that friend’s wife physically assaulted her outside the washroom.
In her statement, she added that there was a group of five people including her friend and another woman. They allegedly mixed a narcotic substance in her drink after which she lose her consciousness, was was gand raped.
She added that a woman was beaten, assaulted and filmed. She also claimed that an accused threatened her to upload the footage online if she disclosed such to anyone.
About the Victim
As per the sources, the victim is a 24 year old woman who works for a private company and resides in Punjabi Bagh, Delhi. While she stated what had happened with her, she told police that one of her friends had called her and invited her to the party at the residence of another friend.
