On Friday, the airline announced that the Manchester route, operating four times weekly, signifies the launch of its long-haul services from Delhi. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft will operate these flights.
Reportedly, daily services to Denpasar will begin on October 24, while four weekly flights to Krabi will launch on October 26. Additionally, the number of flights on the Delhi-Bangkok route will be boosted to twice daily starting from October 26, as stated in a release.
Airbus A320 series aircraft will be utilized for conducting flights to Denpasar and Krabi. For services to Denpasar, there will be a refuelling stop at Bhubaneswar.
Starting October 26, the airline will launch new daily, non-stop flights on nine routes from the national capital to Rajkot, Vadodara (Gujarat), Patna (Bihar), Goa, Shirdi, Nagpur, Nashik (Maharashtra), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh), and Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
The airline announced it will begin direct flights from Delhi to Purnea (Bihar).
“Through this expansion, IndiGo will link Delhi to 21 international and 74 domestic locations, with more than 1,700 weekly flight, IndiGo is not just strengthening Delhi airport’s position as one of its primary hubs, but also aiding in positioning India as a global aviation center,” the statement indicated.
