Japanese Companies Show Strong Interest in Punjab Investments at Mann’s Osaka Roadshow

Mann stated that involvement of these industrialists demonstrated robust institutional backing for enhancing the economic relationship between India and Japan.

The Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann on Friday led a roadshow in Osaka. The show had a great deal of response as several of the leading Japanese companies attended it.

The companies reportedly showed keen interest in investing in the Punjab. 

Mann stated that the involvement of these industrialists demonstrated robust institutional backing for enhancing the economic relationship between India and Japan. It also demonstrated increasing interest from global investors in the state’s forward-thinking industrial policies, integrated single-window system, and opportunities prepared for investment.

The CM emphasized Punjab’s advantageous position, smooth access to the NCR and key ports, robust industrial hubs, consistent quality power availability, skilled labor force, and forward-thinking policy framework. He also highlighted the state’s governance and regulatory changes, featuring the FastTrack Punjab single-window system that provides over 173 G2B services.
