Sukhbir Singh Badal, President of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Monday (today) made an announcement that for the 2027 Assembly elections, he will contest from Gidderbaha.
The announcement was made by the SAD president after a request from party workers during the inauguration of the party office. He also stated that individuals who had betrayed the party including Hardeep Singh Dhillon would never be welcomed back into the party.
The SAD president engaged with party candidates running for the block samiti and zila parishad elections from this constituency. He stated that the Panchayati Raj elections were a crucial test for the party and encouraged the party members to secure victories for candidates with outstanding results in these elections.
