Congress urged the BJP to contest elections using paper ballots, while Kharge claimed that BJP officials are “gaddars” and “dramebaaz.”

Congress leaders on Sunday took aim at the Narendra Modi-Amit Shah pair and the Election Commission regarding ‘vote theft’. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi asserted that the election authority is performing tasks designated by the ruling BJP and emphasized that it must remember it is India’s electoral body, not that of the Prime Minister.
During the party’s ‘Vote Chor, Gaddi Chhod’ event at Ramlila Maidan, Rahul asserted that the “RSS government” would be discarded by the public in five minutes if votes weren’t stolen, with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also participating in the criticism of Modi, Shah, the BJP, and the Election Commission.
Priyanka stated that each phase of the polling procedure raises “doubt” and urged the BJP to contest elections using paper ballots, while Kharge claimed that BJP officials are “gaddars” (traitors) and “dramebaaz” (performers), “who must be ousted from authority”.
Speaking at the rally after gathering more than 5.5 crore signatures against ‘vote chori,’ Rahul emphasized that the Congress will combat the “theft” of citizens’ rights and oust the “RSS government” through “satya and ahimsa (truth and non-violence).”
He stated that ‘vote chori’ represents the “greatest assault on Ambedkar’s Constitution. They succeeded in pressuring small entrepreneurs, executing flawed GST, demonetisation, etc. because of ‘vote chori’. All these occurred due to ‘vote chori’. If there’s no ‘vote chori,’ you will remove them from power in five minutes.
Citing CEC Gyanesh Kumar and ECs Satbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi, he stated that the Election Commission is carrying out all tasks assigned to them by the government, which has provided them with legal protection for their actions. He cautioned that Congress will amend the law with retroactive impact and initiate measures against them.
“We will support ‘satya’ (truth) and will oust the Narendra Modi-RSS administration from authority.” They possess ‘satta’ (influence) and engage in ‘vote chori’… Remember, the Election Commission belongs to India, not Modi,” he stated.
Referring to his accusations of vote theft in Haryana, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, Rahul asserted that Shah’s hands were “shaking” during the Lok Sabha debate on election reforms because he “lacked responses” to their inquiries.
“Observe Narendra Modi’s expression, and you’ll understand that his assurance has depleted.” They realize their ‘vote theft’ has been exposed. They display courage only while he remains in power. “The moment the power fades, his courage will disappear on that same day,” he stated.
Priyanka stated that the BJP fought the recent elections by imprisoning chief ministers without evidence and exonerating leaders who affiliated with them, while asserting that the ruling party wouldn’t risk competing with paper ballots as “they know they won’t succeed.”
She further asserted that the Bihar elections experienced ‘vote theft’ and mentioned the allocation of Rs 10,000 to female beneficiaries during the campaign.
“Don’t be disheartened about losing Bihar; the whole country is aware that BJP wins through ‘vote theft’… The EC is ignoring this… Without the EC, they can’t secure election victories.” Keep in mind, they are in conflict with us. “Someday, they will need to answer to the country regarding how they plotted to steal votes,” she stated
