Haryana STF has arrested four gang members linked to the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang, recovering weapons in a major organised crime crackdown.

In a major crackdown on organised crime, the Haryana Special Task Force (STF), Karnal, has arrested four shooters allegedly linked to the Rohit Godara–Goldy Brar gang, officials said on Friday.
The arrests were made during an operation in which the accused were travelling in a bulletproof vehicle. The STF recovered four foreign-made pistols and eight live cartridges from their possession, indicating their involvement in serious criminal activities.
Two of the accused, Raman and Lokesh, residents of Mundri village in Kaithal district, were first arrested from Karnal. Based on further information, the STF later apprehended Balraj alias Balram and Ravinder Singh alias Ravi from the Pundri area of Kaithal district on January 14.
According to investigators, the four accused had earlier worked for criminal networks linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Preliminary questioning revealed that they were operating from the United States and were involved in violent crimes there.
The STF said the accused confessed to their role in two murders and one attempted murder in the US. This includes the killing of gangster Sunil Yadav alias Goliya in Stockton, California, on December 23, 2024. They were also allegedly involved in a deadly attack in Fresno, California, on October 18, 2025, in which Banwari Godara was shot dead.
After returning to India, the accused allegedly continued criminal activities by running an extortion racket across Haryana, Delhi, Punjab, and Rajasthan. Police said they made threat calls and carried out firing incidents to intimidate businessmen and others who refused to pay protection money.
Given the international links of the case, the Haryana STF said it will share detailed information with Interpol and US law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
Senior STF officials termed the arrests a major blow to cross-border organised crime and reaffirmed their commitment to dismantling gang networks operating across states and countries.
