Rana Randhawa slams AAP, raises public safety concerns following Nakodar Firing Incident

Following the firing and snatching incident at Nakodar Bus Stand, Indian National Congress (INC) Party Leader Rana Randhawa strongly criticised the state government over the deteriorating law and order situation. He mentioned that such crimes have become a new normal in Punjab and the authorities have failed to ensure the safety of its citizen.

Rajinderpal Singh Rana Randhawa is known for his role as the former Chairman of the Kartarpur Improvement Trust. He as well is a general secretary for the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC).

Noting the situations of increased crime in Punjab under the administration of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he has raised the questions against the authorities, claiming security concerns of general public.

Bike Snatched at Gunpoint in Broad Daylight at Nakodar Bus Stand

Two assailants on Wednesday allegedly opened fire and fled with victim’s motorbike in broad daylight at Nakodar Bus Stand Area. Reports claim that there there were two youth who opened fire and snatched the bike from other two.

The victims have been identified as Prince (25) and Sushant (19) who are the residents of Nakodar. Fortunately, no injuries were officially confirmed at the time of filing this report.

On receiving the information about the incident, the police officials immediately arrived at the spot and started investigating the matter. The officials further added that they are verifying the CCTV footage of nearby areas to identify the accused.

Police have assured that the culprits will be identified and strict action will be taken.
