During the event, the CM also presented certificates to chosen beneficiaries and revealed that the scheme will initially launch on a pilot basis in nine assembly constituencies starting April 15, before being gradually rolled out throughout Punjab, with financial support commencing in July.

He also made pointed political comments against the Centre and opposition, alleging they were undermining democratic rights and public welfare, and urged people to back the government’s welfare programs in Punjab.
