The Jalandhar Municipal Corporation on Friday conducted demolitions near the Heat 7 building as part of an ongoing containment process. Various sources indicate that JMC has actively engaged various public and private stakeholders in an effort to prevent encroachment of the property to include the infamous Bansal Sweets located in the Jawahar Nagar Market of Jalandhar.
The matter had been a long standing issue of concern regarding enclosure and unapproved construction surrounding the premises of the aforementioned establishment.

A complaint was submitted to the Jalandhar Municipal Corporation (MC), claiming that the construction of the Bansal Sweets shop is unlawful, and both sides of the building are reportedly infringing on the parking area of the market.
To tackle the issue, Jalandhar MC Commissioner Gautam Jain had summoned representatives from two confectionery stores; Bansal Sweets and Ghanshyam Sweets.
The building in New Jawahar Nagar in Jalandhar that previously housed the famous Heat-7 restaurant has been renovated. It was tarnished by legal issues.
Bansal Sweets, renowned in Amritsar, has launched its outlet at Heart-7. According to sources, Heat-7 is expected to move to a different location.
