The police investigation revealed that Singer Inder Kaur met Sukhwinder “Sukhi” Brar of Calgary, Canada, via Instagram six years ago.

A massive wave of public outrage has erupted across social media platforms following the tragic and suspicious deaths of three young women; Inder Kaur, Twisha Sharma, and Deepika Nagar, in separate incidents from different states.
Viral hashtags are demanding immediate judicial accountability, even as investigations begin to implicate highly influential families. Recent updates released by local police departments reveal a dark pattern of alleged betrayal, financial greed, and domestic violence cutting short the lives of these highly accomplished women.
Punjabi Singer Inder Kaur Abducted and Shot
In a shocking revelation, the Ludhiana Police have cracked the murder case of former well-known Punjabi singer Yash Inder Kaur, professionally known as Inder Kaur. Boasting a massive digital footprint that included over 250,000 Facebook followers, 124,000 Instagram followers, and over 30 million views across her musical tracks, the artist’s career was abruptly halted following her relationship with a Canada-based NRI.
The police investigation revealed that Kaur met Sukhwinder “Sukhi” Brar of Calgary, Canada, via Instagram six years ago. Brar reportedly entrapped her with promises of marriage, gaining the complete trust of her family during his routine visits to Punjab. Earlier this year, Kaur began demanding that they formalize their marriage.
Authorities later discovered that Brar was already married with two children in Canada. Upon discovering this hidden reality, Kaur refused to marry him.
On the evening of the incident, Kaur left her house to buy routine groceries when Brar called her to the Neelo Bridge under false claims. Upon her arrival, she was allegedly abducted in her own vehicle by Brar, his father, and two associates, and subsequently shot dead inside the car.
To remove all the evidence, the accused removed the vehicle’s number plates and hid both the body and the car into a nearby canal. While the Ludhiana Police have arrested three primary suspects, including the prime accused’s father and the two friends, the master conspirator Sukhi Brar remains at large. Victim family sources suggest he has already fled back to Canada via Nepal, and law enforcement is currently coordinating international channels.
Former Miss Pune Twisha Sharma Murdered
In Bhopal, the death of Twisha Sharma who was Miss Pune titleholder of 2012, and Telugu film actress has put a prominent judicial family under intense legal scrutiny. She married Samrath Singh in 2025 after meeting on a matrimonial platform. Singh is a practicing criminal lawyer, his mother Giribala Singh is a retired District Court Judge, and his brother serves as an officer in the Air Force.
The victim’s father, Navnidhi Sharma, stated that domestic physical abuse began as early as the couple’s honeymoon. Chats recovered by the police show the victim routinely informing her family of extreme mental torture and false allegations of substance abuse leveled by her in-laws. Two viral CCTV clips from the night of May 12 have further complicated the narrative.
The first clip captures Sharma walking towards the home gym area, while the second shows her lying unresponsive near the stairs while her husband attempts CPR. Her mother-in-law is seen walking past the scene without rendering immediate assistance. Adding to the suspicion, the CCTV timestamp reads May 10 despite the incident occurring on May 12.
Medical and financial timelines have also raised major concerns. The victim’s mother stated that her call with Sharma abruptly disconnected at 10:05 PM, and at 10:25 PM, the mother-in-law called back stating Sharma was unable to breathe. Despite a hospital being situated only 15 minutes away from the residence, Sharma was brought to the emergency ward 40 minutes post-incident.
Meanwhile, defense counsels have raised questions regarding a transfer of Rs 7 Lakhs via UPI from the victim’s account shortly before her death.
Following initial delays in filing an FIR due to the family’s judicial influence, a case was registered on May 13. The mother secured immediate bail due to her status as a former judge, while the husband is currently evading arrest. Rejecting the AIIMS Bhopal post-mortem findings due to alleged intimidation, the victim’s family is demanding the case be transferred to New Delhi for an impartial probe.
Greater Noida Tech Graduate Deepika Nagar Dies of alleged Dowry Harassment
Within a year and a half of her marriage, Deepika Nagar lost her life in Greater Noida under highly suspicious circumstances involving unrelenting dowry demands. According to the victim’s father and paternal uncle, the family spent approximately Rs 1 Crore on the wedding. However, the in-laws consistently harassed Nagar, demanding an additional luxury Fortuner SUV and Rs 50 Lakhs in cash.
Following her death, the in-laws claimed that Nagar passed away after accidentally falling from the terrace. However, the formal post-mortem report heavily contradicted this claim, revealing severe internal injuries to the abdomen and head, but notably no bone fractures typically associated with a high-fall impact.
The injury patterns strongly indicate that a severe physical assault preceded her death. Following a formal complaint by the family, the Greater Noida Police have arrested both the husband and the father-in-law. The victim’s family has appealed for stringent monitoring of the upcoming trial, alleging that the father-in-law faces over 20 pending land mafia cases and holds significant political leverage.
