Social responsibility is a coined term for ethical means that an individual works for to fulfil his civic duty. As a whole when a person fulfills his social responsibility, the society is the beneficiary.
Civic responsibility refers to the responsibility as a person of the country or a citizen focusing on the legal means. When an individual fulfills a civic responsibility, the nation is the beneficiary.
Youth towards Social Responsibility
The youth of today are very well aware of their social responsibilities. Taking into consideration the societies a generation away, the change and the development can be seen clearly. The current generation is highly conscious about their rights and duties. It is an advanced generation that is working towards social responsibility in most efficient ways.
The Rise in Advocacy and Activism
Advocacy and Activism were never a loud term. There were times when people suffered of discrimination and no voice was raised. Undoubtedly, this has not even stopped today but the rate or the scale towards the advocacy has arisen. People nowadays stand for their rights and raise a voice towards the wrong resulting in a positive advocacy.
Three aspects youth gave to the country as social responsibility-
MUNs (Model United Nations)
According to the United Nations, Model United Nations is an educational and academic simulation of diplomatic decision making. The youth and the students are actively participating in these summits that make them aware of the global issues. They indulge in the speeches and debates in this programme which shows how active they are towards the advocacy.
Social Media Activism
The Gen Z’s are persons who are not just socially active for reels and entertainment, but at the same time, they are its best users. The rise in social campaigns have benefitted the society alot,the fundraising campaigns, the campaigns towards the social change has made the millions of lives easy and worth living.
LGBTQ+ Activism
It is a world where identity was just for female or male, men or women, love was just between men and women. For a long time no other gender was accepted. It is not just about activism, it is about a life of acceptance but the youth of today has shown activism towards and fulfilled its social responsibility which led to the society of dignity.
Youth towards Civic Responsibility
The youth of the nation is performing so well. When it comes to fulfilling the civic responsibilities, the positive development and the democratic society is the proof that youth has not failed in performing their duties.
The engagement of youth at a time was just up to the participation in taking political positions. No other initiatives were taken but today, it has become a broader concept.

The Rise in Voting
The rate of voting has risen now. People now take voting and the elections seriously and as a right and duty for the better country than ever since.
Payment of Tax
The payment of proper tax is not fostered even till date but the development in fulfilling the taxes as a civic responsibility can be seen and noticed clearly.
Civic Education
This term refers to preparing the youth for activism and realising social and civic responsibility. Today, youth is educating youth by digital activism, participating and volunteering in government programs performing and fulfilling both social and civic responsibility with efficacy.
