Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Discharged from Hospital After Recovery

Mann was discharged from Fortis Hospital, Mohali, today after being reviewed by a team of senior doctors.

Chief Minister of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann on Thursday got discharged from Fortis Hospital, Mohali. He was hospitalised from days following exhaustion and low heart rate. Sources reveal that hospital authorities on Wednesday said that Mann had shown significant improvement and doctors were evaluating the possibility of his discharge.

“Mann was discharged from Fortis Hospital, Mohali, today after being reviewed by a team of senior doctors. He is in good health and his vital parameters are stable,” the hospital said in a statement.”

The hospital authorities on Wednesday said Mann had shown significant improvement and doctors were evaluating the possibility of his discharge on Thursday. The CM was hospitalised on September 5 after he complained of exhaustion and low heart rate.

Significantly, Mann on Monday from hospital only chaired a cabinet meeting through video-conferencing. This meeting was scheduled for September 5, but due to Mann’s illness, it was postponed.

The Chief Minister on Wednesday connected with the ones who supported people of the flood hit areas of Punjab. He shared the glimpse of the video on his ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter account.

From the shared videos, one of the conversations with Punjabi Singer, Mankirat Aulakh. While talking to him, he appreciated him for the support he provided to Punjabis. He also expressed his thoughts about giving loan reliefs to flood affected people.

Not only him, he was also connected to Pritpal Singh Hanspal who built 100 boats in just seven days. He is a rail factory owner from Kapurthala.
