ED teams on Wednesday searched several locations belonging to the Lovely Group, including Mittal’s house in Jalandhar and the Lovely Professional University (LPU) campus. The agency is reportedly looking into financial records related to foreign exchange rules.

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reacted quickly, calling the raids a political move by the BJP. He claimed that because elections are approaching in Punjab, the central government is using agencies like the ED to target AAP leaders.
