The statement was met with reactions from NDA leaders, including Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister, who claimed that Congress now has no topics or issues to discuss, further stating that making unfounded accusations is all they do.

The Shiv Sena on Thursday, targeted Congress chief Bhai Jagtap for attributing Shah Rukh Khan’s NationalAward to the forthcoming Bihar elections.
The PTI spoke to Jagtap who incredulously put the honour given to the Bollywood superstar at the center of the question, by claiming that the BJP-led regime is maneuvering to “create a perception”.
The National Awards are eminent awards conferred by the Indian government to celebrate the achievements and remarkable work in areas such as film and literature. By demand for his action in “Jawan,” Shah Rukh Khan won his first ever best actor National filmmaker award.
Purohit, the leading member of BJP mentioned that contrary to the Congress government that ignored Shah Rukh Khan, BJP gave the prefix “BOLLYWOOD KING” to the superstar.
To this statement, Jagtap commented that the remarks show that the award was “staged with the elections in view”.
“Is that so? Do you really think that BJP is judging by talent? This is not the first time that the BJP is ruling, the last time it was Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and the most important thing is that Shah Rukh Khan is a name, he has come to this point, and the whole world knows him. I want to say to these flattering people, many people have been awarded before, so then why did they wait?”for 11 years… Is it due to Bihar elections, SC observation on Maharashtra elections? They are intending to create a perception. I would like to commend Shah Rukh Khan, he is honored everywhere. Yet, such remarks point out that it is orchestrated in view of the elections,” said him.
The statement was met with reactions from NDA leaders, including Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister, who claimed that Congress now has no topics or issues to discuss, further stating that making unfounded accusations is all they do. Urging Congress party leaders to reflect on their stance, Shiv Sena said, “The Congress party and its leaders seem to have a problem with everything. Associating the actor’s National Award with elections is evil, a prank and a crime.
“The list of National Film Award winners was published last August. The result of the Best Actor in a Leading Role was given to Shah Rukh Khan. Shortly after this, the actor had to deal with the news denying his right not an emotional video share with the people who made his work successful. His message was meant for his fans, team, family, and colleagues.
