A shocking incident came to notice from Karnataka. A 22 year old man allegedly did robbery so he could bear his wedding expenses using the amount earned from those.
As per the sources, he stole gold and cash from his relative’s house. After police investigated the matter, they revealed that an accused was planning to marry his long term girlfriend.
Shortly after the FIR was registered against him, the investigations were carried forward, and a man was arrested.
The accused has been identified as Shreyas who was in a relationship for the past four years, was now eager to marry her. He knew that he needed money for all the necessary arrangements to marry his long-time girlfriend, so he came up with such a plan.
He committed such a robbery at a relative named Harsh’s house, also a shop owner where Shreyas is employed. While narrating what he did, he mentioned that he knew where the gold and cash was kept, and stole the valuables which cost lakhs.
Who lodged the complaint?
The house owner of the property from where the valuables are stolen filed the complaint against him. It was registered at the Hebbagodi Police Station.
Shortly after the case came into the notice of officials, the investigations carried ahead. During the operations, the police found 16 grams of gold and Rs 3.46 lakh in cash.
Reportedly, in total, the valuable were worth Rs 47 lakh.
