Massive Explosion at Ludhiana’s Verka Milk Plant Kills Engineer, Injures Several

As per the details of reports, this explosion was reported after a major steam boiler caught fire. This steam boiler used to convert milk into powder.

A tragic incident occurred in Ludhiana at the Verka Milk Plant. This massive explosion occurred in the Verka Milk Plant’s heater, taking one life and injuring several of the people present at the spot.

The General Manager of the Verka Milk Plant highlighted that the incident occurred at around 11 pm.

As per the details of reports, this explosion was reported after a major steam boiler caught fire. This steam boiler used to convert milk into powder.

As the reports claim that one has been killed in the explosion, he has been identified as Kunal Jain who was an A-grade Engineer. He reportedly had been promoted only a few days earlier.

His wife also works at the same Verka Milk Plant, and is a contractual employee. The information received states that Kunal was asked to come to the plant late at night. His family and friends have asked for the details of why he was asked to reach the plant.

Kunal’s family and friends while talking to the media mentioned that he received a call at night, was asked to come to the plant. The family and friends have as well raised the questions alleging that he was called under pressure.

They have demanded an inquiry for the prospect of who made the call, why was he asked to reach the plant late at night. Following the demand, a committee has been formed to investigate the cause behind an accident.

The Verka company notably has assured the complete support to the family.
