Mohinder Kaur Refuses to Forgive Kangana Ranaut Despite Court Apology

Kangana Ranaut on Monday issued an apology in Bathinda Court, claiming her comments arose from a misunderstanding.

One day after Kangana Ranaut expressed remorse in a Bathinda court for her tweet during the farmers’ protests of 2020-21, Mohinder Kaur, 82, stated that she will not pardon the BJP MP and pledged to keep pursuing her legal fight.

She stays steadfast in her determination to continue with the defamation suit she has lodged against Bollywood actress and BJP MP from Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut.

On Monday, Kangana Ranaut issued an apology in Bathinda Court, claiming her comments arose from a misunderstanding. She stated that she misunderstood Bebe Mohinder Kaur and never expected, even in her dreams, that such a controversy would emerge.

Due to her poor health, Mohinder Kaur was represented in court by her husband Labh Singh, as she was unable to attend the proceedings.

Labh Singh states, “Ladayi ta ladni pendi hai (the battle must be fought).” She (Kangana) has requested an apology in court, but only God knows what will occur next. “God has granted us bravery; without it, we would be insignificant.”

In the 2021 farmers’ protest, Kangana made a remark on social media about 87-year-old farmer Mohinder Kaur from Bathinda, likening her to Bilkis Bano, the grandmother symbolizing the Shaheen Bagh protest, and claimed that she was protesting for ₹100 each. In reaction, Mohinder Kaur initiated a defamation lawsuit against Kangana due to the comment.
