PM Modi Slams Opposition Over Insult to Late Mother, launches “Bihar Rajya Jeevika Nidhi Sangh”

“My mother who has nothing to do with politics, who is no more, was abused from the stage of the RJD, Congress,” added PM Modi.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday virtually launched the Bihar Rajya Jeevika Nidhi Saakh Sahkari Sangh Limited. While at the virtual launch, he reacted to the recent row over a derogatory remark on his mother at an event of ‘Vote Adhikar Rally’ in Bihar’s Darbhanga.

The Prime Minister said, “Mother is the world. Mother is self-respect. I had not even imagined what happened a few days ago in this tradition-rich Bihar. My mother was abused from the stage of RJD-Congress in Bihar… These abuses are not just an insult to my mother. These are insults to the mothers, sisters and daughters of the country. I know how bad all of you, every mother of Bihar, felt after seeing and hearing this! I know, as much pain as I have in my heart, the people of Bihar are also in the same pain…”

While addressing the public virtually at the launch ceremony, PM Modi mentioned that her mother raised her children in extreme poverty. She never bought a saree for herself, saved every single penny for her family. He added that in India, there are crores of mothers who do “Tapasya” every day.

Continuing his address, PM noted that his mother left him so he could serve crores of Indian mothers. He said, his mother is no more in this world, she left this world after completing 100 years of age.

“My mother who has nothing to do with politics, who is no more, was abused from the stage of the RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal), Congress, added PM Modi.

The Prime Minister further mentioned that he can imagine the pain that every mother and sister felt on hearing such abusive words for a mother on the stage. He said, “this is very sad and painful.”

He notably then congratulated all the mothers and sisters for ‘Jeevika Sahakari Sangh’ and extended his congrats to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and the NDA Government of Bihar for this initiative.

The Prime Minister reflected that India’s development is the empowerment of women. He claimed, to empower women, it is necessary to remove all kinds of difficulties from the lives of mothers, sisters and daughters.

With this, Bihar’s women are set to get new facility, “Jeevika Nidhi Saakh Sahkari Sangh.” With such a facility, the doors of financial aids will open with an easy access. This will help them in their works and business they operate.
