Initiative is to be carried out across the nation. The idea aims at mass participation of the farmers.

The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) on Tuesday held a campaign to urge the Government of India to accept farmers’ long-pending demands, including a legal guarantee for Minimum Support Price (MSP).
The campaign reportedly has started from the Village Balloh, Bathida, under the leadership of Sardar Jagjit Singh Dallewal.
The campaign had a symbolic commencement as it was inaugurated from the native village of Shaheed Shubkaran Singh who lost his life during the Farmers’ Protest.
The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha firmly stated that under this campaign, a memorandum containing the demands of farmers will be shared across villages, towns and cities throughout the country. The purpose of such is to raise the voice of the Farmer community.
The Non Political Kisan Morcha mentioned that once the farmers sign the memorandum, it will be sent to the Central Government as part of the collective voice of India’s farming community.
“All the farmers of India will be part of this program, and from different states, they will get this memorandum signed by the common people and send it to the Delhi government. This program is a nationwide initiative,” said the Morcha.
Notably, the initiative is to be carried out across the nation heading from villages, towns and cities. The idea aims at mass participation of the farmers. In another significant event, rally has been scheduled for March 19. 2026 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
As per the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha, the signed memorandum then will formally be submitted to the Prime Minister of India.
The farmers’ leaders reiterated that the protest would continue until the government enacts a legal MSP Guarantee Law and fulfils other demands related to farmers’ welfare.



MSP Bharat Jodo Yatra
Along with the commencement of initiative, another major announcement as well is made. The Morcha declared that the “MSP Bharat Jodo Yatra” is set to have its launch on February 7, 2026.
This reportedly willl cover the distance from Kanyamumari to Kashmir. The Yatra significantly aims at raising the awareness across the country in support of MSP.
What demands do the Memorandum lists?
According to the memorandum, the major demands include:
- Enactment of a legal MSP Guarantee Law for all crops, ensuring remunerative prices to farmers
- Protection of farmers from market exploitation and corporate dominance
- Withdrawal of policies perceived to be anti-farmer
- Ensuring debt relief and financial security for farmers
- Strengthening public procurement systems and safeguarding small and marginal farmers
- Justice and recognition for farmers who lost their lives during previous agitations
