In acupressure, the specific points of body are to be given pressure that help the body relax. All the points on which pressure is applied during acupressure are known as acupoints.

Who should prefer acupressure and Why?

Acupressure is linked with energy flow and also is a non vasive practice. The reason behind the science of acupressure is that there are 365 points and 12 channels that are attached with the body organs like kidney, lungs , liver, heart etc.

Acupressure aims at clearing blockages by pressurizing the trigger points of body. It is said that this healing method works with improvising problems like:

  • Shoulder Pain: The pain that takes place in shoulder area is said to be pain caused by tension Or stress. The acupoint of shoulder pain is found between thumb and first finger. Keep pressing the points after every seconds and it will automatically lower down the ache.
  • Sinus: It seems unreal but sinus can be cured by the acupressure. The sinus pain usually starts between both the eyebrows. The acupoint for sinus is situated right where pain is felt. Sit empty stomach and stay relaxed. Keep rotating on the point after every five seconds.
  • Also, it helps cure problems like backache, fatigue, stress and anxiety.

Who should not perform Acupressure?

  • People who suffer from varicose viens should avoid acupressure as it can cause bleeding due to increased blood flow of the body.
  • People with high blood pressure or with thickened blood and are on blood thinner should highly restrict acupressure.
  • Individual who suffers from bone aur spinal issues also should not do acupressure in any condition.
  • The chronic disease patients should avoid acupressure as it can hamper the blood circulation of their body.
