Over the last few days, several videos and posts on YouTube and Instagram claimed that Sneha Katyal, social media influencer “cheated on” Kimmi Pawan who also are social media influencers. The allegations have allegedly led to a divorce between the couple.
What is the controversy about?
According to the claims circulating across YouTube and social media, the controversy reportedly began after Kimmi herself is said to have shared details of the issue with FreshyCanadian, a YouTube roaster, alleging that Sneha Katyal is responsible for the situation.
Shortly after, a phone call between FreshyCanadian and Sneha was posted online, during which Sneha is allegedly heard questioning Kimmi about the man she “used to meet at the bus stand and on highways.” These alleged recordings quickly intensified the controversy, especially after additional audio clips and a video, allegedly showing Kimmi in drunk state and lying on the floor of a hotel room, began spreading widely online.
Sneha says allegations are baseless, explains her side
In response to the escalating situation, Sneha Katyal appeared live on her social-media justifying herself. She denied the responsibility and asserted that the incident being circulated was from her birthday celebration on December 6, 2024.
She explained that the celebration took place at Club Tropicana in Adampur, Jalandhar, a public venue where, she said, “no one can force anyone to drink.” She added that the venue was a public place with no privacy for any inappropriate activity.

Sneha further stated that because many influencers and guests attended the event, she chose to book hotel rooms, as she could not take everyone to her home. She noted that the plan was to share one with her sisters Lovi and Ginder, along with Kimmi. According to her, in the other rooms, influencer couple Angel and Shivam stayed together, while another guest, Mayank, took the third room.
She claimed that after the party ended, all of them gathered in one room until around 2 a.m., after which everyone returned to their rooms. At that time, Sneha alleges, Kimmi left with the man he was supposedly involved with, despite her and Lovi’s attempts to stop him. She stated that Kimmi insisted he was sober and would return shortly.

When Kimmi did not return, Sneha said she went to check on her, but found the hotel room locked from the inside. After knocking repeatedly with no response, she called Ginder and Angel-Shivam for help. The group allegedly waited outside the room until approximately 4 to 4:30 a.m., when the individuals inside finally opened the door. Sneha stated that they then brought Kimmi back with them, adding that, Kimmi kept saying that she was not drunk and was in her sense.
Sneha even asserted that, Kimmi then vomited, which even Sneha and the group recorded to show her in the morning that she was drunk, was repeatedly saying that she is sober.
The controversy continues to spark debate online as both sides present conflicting narratives. While videos and recordings have circulated widely, none of the claims have been independently verified, and no formal statements have been issued yet.
