The only witness to the accident, a ragpicker, alerted the station master instantly after witnessing the collision.

Two young males tragically died in Haryana’s Jhajjar District after being hit by an accelerating train while they were filming a video for social media, at the time of the accident both boys were on rail tracks.
The occurrence was reported to the government railway police (GRP) Thursday at Chhotu Ram Nagar Crossing close to Bahadurgarh when a ragpicker working in the area reported the accident when he arrived at the railway station to gather information.
When the Government Railway Police responded, they completed official reports and transported the bodies to the Civil Hospital for postmortem examinations. One of the deceased was identified from an Aadhaar card that was found with him; however, identification of the second boy has yet to be confirmed, but attempts are ongoing to notify the respective families.
Investigators believe that both boys had arrived on the rail tracks shortly after 11:00 a.m., to film their social media video. The ragpicker on the site warned the boys of the danger they were in and urged them to move away from the tracks.
The assistant sub-inspector for the GRP, Naresh Hooda stated that the accident occurred shortly after 11:30 a.m. and that at 11:30 a.m. the boys were still recording their video despite having been warned.
For not known reasons the victims likely moved aside from the path they were standing on when a train approached from the other side. It was at this point that they may not have realised a second train was coming from Delhi.
Before they could move or do anything about what was happening, both men were hit by and instantly killed by both trains. The only witness to the accident, a ragpicker, alerted the station master instantly after witnessing the collision.
The first victim has been identified as Shivam. He was originally from Tikamgarh district, Chhattisgarh and worked in a footwear plant in Bahadurgarh. The second victim, who is between 19 and 22 years old, has not yet been identified.
