Schools that have received bomb threat are Ivy World School in Rama Mandi, St. Joseph’s Convent School, Apeejay School, DPS, and KMV.

On Monday, several schools in Jalandhar got bomb threat emails. The bomb threat emails, which were received by various schools of Jalandhar, were allegedly sent by the Khalistani terror outfit. The sender not only threatened to blast schools but also railway tracks.
Among the schools identified are the Ivy World School in Rama Mandi, St. Joseph’s Convent School located in Cantt Road, Jalandhar, Apeejay School, DPS, and KMV.
The school administration had sent messages to parents of students to collect their children at school.
A parent, Tajinder Singh, who reached the school said, “I am here to take my kid. I got a message on WhatsApp from the school. Now I am hearing of emails being sent to the school with threats. That is very wrong. It doesn’t matter if it is a rumor or real, these incidents interrupt students’ learning.”
One of the students from Saint Joseph told, “We were just in the process of handing in our papers, when all of a sudden, our papers were snatched, the lights went off.. We were then ordered to stand in the ground. It happened about at 10:45 am. Our Principal told us that your parents have been given the information and you all can go home for the day.”
One of the police officers who come to the place of the incidence said , “The Principal has received a mail. We have called a team to carry out thorough checking of the school. Our Cyber Team are now checking the mail and an investigation will also take place.
