The investigation revealed that these people were illegally sent to the US through the Dunki route.

Jalandhar : The Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) Jalandhar zone team has raided 13 commercial and residential locations in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi on December 18, 2025 in the Dunki Route case.
The ED had started this investigation on the basis of the FIRs that were registered after 330 Indians were deported from the US in February 2025. These Indians were sent back by a US Army cargo aircraft.
The investigation revealed that these people were illegally sent to the US through the Dunki route. Behind this was a whole network of travel agents, middlemen, donkers, colleagues abroad, hawala operators and people providing amenities such as living and eating.
Two previous raids by the ED and evidence found during the investigation revealed the names of second- and third-tier people involved in the network, who have now been involved in the operation. The people and institutions covered in today’s raids include Richi Travels (Jalandhar), Tarun Khosla (Delhi) and Balwan Sharma (Panipat).
Recently, the ED had also attached assets worth Rs 5.41 crore of people associated with illegally sending abroad through the Dunki route. The investigation is currently underway.
