AAP leaded with a total of 201 out of the 317 declared by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Trends for the timing of vote counting was released by AAP, who was shown to lead the race in the Punjab Zila Parishad Elections. The trends show AAP currently leads in the majority of the 347 Zila Parishad Elections and so far in 317 Zila Parishad Elections their results have been declared.
AAP leaded with a total of 201 out of the 317 declared by 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. INC is in second place with 60 Zones and SAD 39 Zones. Bjp 4 Zones, BSP 3 Zones, Independent candidates 10 Zones.

AAP also did well in major districts such Amritsar (19 zones out of 24), Hoshiarpur (22 zones out of 25), Patiala (19 zones out of 23), Tarn Taran (17 zones out of 20), Gurdaspur (17 Zones out of 25), and Sangrur (15 Zones out of 18). INC was able to have a good showing in Bathinda, Ludhiana and SBS Nagar while SAD had a decent showing in both the Faridkot and Moga areas.
As of now no results have been declared for the districts of Fazilka and Sri Muktsar Sahib as counting in these two districts are still going on.
According to election officials, the counting process is proceeding without any issues due to the implementation of robust security measures; however, only time will tell what the ultimate outcomes will be.
Political analysts have indicated that based upon early results available thus far, the early trends support an overwhelming majority of support for AAP within district-level rural governance structures.
All participants are holding off on formally declaring their standings until all 347 districts release their final tallies.
