AAP workers hospitalised with gunshot wounds, alleges Congress-Led attack after poll results

The injured workers were sent to Ludhiana Civil Hospital, after they received medical treatment for gunshot wounds.

Following the results of the Zila Parishad and Block Samiti elections, five Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) workers in the Gill constituency were reportedly assaulted by Congress Party supporters during a post-electoral victory march.

The police are still investigating and have not verified the order of events that took place before the incident occurred.

According to the AAP, the attack on their members was orchestrated by Congress Party supporters, led by Jasvir Singh, and included gunfire, assault with bricks and stones, and three severely injured victims (Gurmukh Singh, Ravinder Singh, and Mandeep Singh).

The AAP has provided video evidence of the assault that took place at a celebratory event in Bachittar Nagar.
