A major accident occurred late this evening at a factory on Dhogri Road in Jalandhar. While work was underway, a large container filled with keys suddenly fell. Three of the employees died on the spot as a result, one of whom was a female employee.

Upon being notified of the situation, local police and emergency response teams have arrived at the site of the accident. The injured workers received immediate medical assistance and were taken to a nearby hospital where they remain in receiving medical care.

In a statement, SSP Harvinder Virk has confirmed that there have been three confirmed fatalities so far in this accident. He also indicated that the factory will be conducting an investigation to ascertain the reason for the accident and that an initial review of the cause of the accident is currently taking place.
