CM Health Insurance Scheme: Card Distribution Camps to Begin in Adampur

The Programme will provide all citizens with up to ₹10 lakh worth of Health Insurance that can be used at Govt. Hospitals or any Govt. Approved Private Hospitals.

The Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Programme has been launched in Punjab by the government for every citizen of Punjab during the New Year celebration in 2026. 

This new Programme offers free medical care and assistance to the entire population of Punjab. 

The Programme will provide all citizens of Punjab with up to ₹10 lakh worth of Health Insurance that can be used at Government Hospitals or any Government Approved Private Hospitals.

The creation of insurance cards for beneficiaries will start in Block Adampur on January 8th. A gathering of ASHA employees took place at CHC Adampur to guarantee the effective execution of the program and to deliver extensive information about it to the public. 

With the oversight of Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajesh Garg and Senior Medical Officer Dr. Kuldeep Singh, ASHA workers received crucial details about the scheme.

SMO Dr. Kuldeep Singh notified the meeting that camps will be established in each village to distribute cards under this scheme, and these cards will be produced at the village’s Common Service Center. 

Asha workers were directed to inform citizens about the program. Dr. Harpreet Singh and B.E.E. Chandan Mishra was in attendance as well.
