Senior Superintendent of Police Bhupinder Singh said that initial findings suggest Amandeep Singh died by suicide after killing his family.

Four members of a family were found dead under mysterious circumstances at their home in Harman Nagar, Ferozepur, on Tuesday, sending shockwaves through the locality.
The deceased have been identified as Amandeep Singh, his wife Jasveer Kaur, and their two minor daughters—Manveer Kaur (10) and Parmeet Kaur (6).
According to preliminary police investigations, the incident is suspected to be a case of murder-suicide. Police said Amandeep Singh allegedly shot his wife and daughters using his licensed revolver before turning the weapon on himself.
Neighbours alerted the police after noticing the house remained locked for a long time and no one responded to repeated calls. Upon entering the house, police found all four family members dead.
Amandeep Singh was involved in property dealing and construction work, while his wife ran a beauty parlour. The motive behind the incident is not yet clear.
Senior Superintendent of Police Bhupinder Singh said that initial findings suggest Amandeep Singh died by suicide after killing his family. “Further investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances and motive,” he said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination, and forensic teams are examining the scene. The incident has caused panic and deep grief among residents of the area.
