Ludhiana Court Complex Receives Second Bomb Threat in a Week

As per the official report, the threat was received via email on the court’s official id. The threat mail was received from ‘veerapandian@outlook.com’ at around 8:15 am.

For the second time in a week, Ludhiana court complex has received a bomb threat. For the safety measures, the authorities has suspended all the judicial work for the day.

As the part of precautions, all the lawyers were not allowed to enter their chambers and the courtrooms.

As per the official report, the threat was received via email on the court’s official id. The threat mail was received from ‘veerapandian@outlook.com’ at around 8:15 am.

As the court was not opened at that time, the concerned staff immediately notified about so to the senior officials. Thereafter, Judge Harpreet Kaur Randhawa and the Ludhiana Police Commissioner were alerted.

Police officials reportedly launched the search operations and deployed the necessary teams including bomb disposal squad, dog squad, and heavy personnel to enhance the security.

Such threat marked the 2nd threat within a week. The first such threat was received on January 8, 2026. This reportedly was sent by Ajmal Abdul Raj from ‘rajeevan_ajmal@outloom.com.’

This mail claimed that three RDX based improvised explosive devices (IEDs) using C-4 had been planted at several locations in the court.
