At around 12:50 pm, a call for PCR service was made to the police about a fire caused at a banquet hall that is located in Adarsh Nagar.

Four individuals suffered burn injuries following a fire in a banquet hall located in the Adarsh Nagar area of northwest Delhi on Saturday afternoon, according to police reports. They reported that the condition of one injured individual is serious.
At around 12:50 pm, a call for PCR service was made to the police about a fire caused at a banquet hall that is located in Adarsh Nagar. After receiving the alarm, local Police units quickly arrived on scene and were able to find three fire appliances already present and that fire suppression efforts were underway.
At the time of police arrival, there were no reported injuries. However, after interviewing witnesses and performing preliminary investigations, police were able to learn two individuals were taken to the hospital and these individuals have not yet been confirmed by local hospitals as being admitted for care.
Later in the day, approximately at 4 pm, another message was communicated through Police Station Prashant Vihar reporting that four individuals had suffered burn injuries during a ‘Bhandara’ taking place at a banquet in the Azadpur region. Authorities indicated that the incident was related to the same fire.
“According to reports, four individuals sustained burn injuries, with one reported to be in critical condition.” A senior police official stated, “The specific conditions and the order of occurrences are being confirmed.”
The police believe the fire could have started because of cooking or food preparation preparations for the upcoming religious feast, although the exact cause has not yet been determined. It is anticipated that the fire department’s forensic unit and other investigators will visit the property to determine where the fire originated from, said officials.
