The deceased child’s mother, Mamta, 32 says that they are originally from Madhepura in Bihar and are currently living in a Jalandhar village named Hazara.

The Patara Police Station in Jalandhar has apprehended Gajendra Mukhiya, 35, for allegedly poisoning his 6-year-old son, Rupesh Mukhiya. According to the reports, the accused provided him with pesticides intending solely to induce fainting and unconsciousness to frame his son-in-law.
According to the details, Gajendra’s son-in-law recently lodged a complaint against him, alleging that he had stolen anklets. After this, Gajendra was enraged and sought retaliation. Thus, to accomplish this, he plotted and poisoned his own son as a part of his scheme.
The deceased child’s mother, Mamta, 32 says that they are originally from Madhepura in Bihar and are currently living in a Jalandhar village named Hazara. The couple has four children including the 6-year-old son. Talking about the incident the mother shares that she was cooking in the kitchen when she saw the 6-year-old Rupesh with two biscuits in his hand. The child was eating one of the two biscuits.
The child informs his mother that his dad provided him with some medication; before Mamta could comprehend the situation, the child began to vomit uncontrollably. The mother became worried and promptly rushed to her father Bhullar Mukhiya, who resided close by; from there, the child was taken to the Civil Hospital. At this point, the child had become unconscious and his state deteriorated
Subsequently, the child was sent to Medical College, Amritsar where he passed away while receiving treatment. In the early investigation following the incident, the family did not share all details about what happened, but later, Mamta, along with the village chief, Rajinder Singh, went to Patara Police Station and updated the police on the whole situation.
Following this, the police filed a murder case against Gajendra Mukhiya, the father of the deceased child, and later took him into custody. In the early inquiry, the defendant attempted to blame his mother-in-law for the offense, but when the police showed proof, the father admitted to his actions.
