Discussing the situation during the demonstration, Moosewala’s parents claimed that the Mansa Police have not recorded FIR even though they submitted a complaint concerning the misappropriation of money earned from Sidhu Moosewala’s social media accounts. They received confirmation from DIG Harjeet Singh promising that action would be taken in this matter within two days, after which they concluded their protest.

Sidhu Moosewala was killed in 2022, yet his musiccontinues to be distributed,attracting millions of plays and views. Currently, Moosewala’s parents claim they are being defrauded of profits,promptingthemtofile a complaint against three digital marketing promoters.
Discussing the dispute, Balkaur Singh reveals that the firm possessing the marketing rights to the deceased writer-rapper’s music has not provided the financial audits and royalty payments for more than a year. He states that they have been denied the earnings produced by their son’s job.
Bunty Bains steps up, clarifies the situation
After the recent protest by Moosewala’s parents that received significant media attention, one of the individuals named in the complaint, producer Bunty Bains, has stepped forward to address the allegations. He went to his Instagram account and shared a series of posts detailing his perspective on the situation. Bunty Bains has confirmed that he has been in regular contact with Sidhu Moosewala’s parents via WhatsApp.
Clarifying his position, he has disclosed his version of events asserting that there was no misconduct on his part. He presents some evidence demonstrating discussions between him and Shabir Momin (OneDigital) too. He further states that he holds no grudges against Sidhu Moosewala’s parents and acknowledges that circumstances can become overwhelming and hard to manage at times.
He adds that he has introduced numerous artists to the Punjabi industry with genuine intentions and diligent effort. He argues that if he were fraudulent, he wouldn’t be in his current position.
