A fresh development has taken place in the controversy linked to Mariton Hotel, which had recently come into the spotlight after videos of a heated argument between its partners went viral on social media. The dispute had created a lot of discussion in business and social circles in Jalandhar, with both sides publicly presenting their allegations.

The matter first gained attention after CCTV footage showing a serious altercation between hotel partners surfaced online. Soon after that, the hotel’s Managing Director, Dr. Paramjit Singh Marwah, held a press conference to present his version of events. Later, the other side also addressed the media and shared their stand. During that press interaction, the daughter of Yashpal Dua made several strong statements and alleged that Dr. Marwah was not on good terms even with his own brothers, along with raising other serious claims.

Now, after days of tension and public statements, the situation appears to be calming down. A major update has come in, confirming that the dispute between the Marwah brothers has been settled through mutual understanding.

According to reports, the compromise was made possible after the intervention of Punjab Khadi Board Chairman and senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Gagandeep Singh Ahluwalia, who is widely known as Kaku Ahluwalia. He reportedly stepped in to mediate between the hotel partners and helped bring both sides to an agreement.

The confirmation of the compromise came through the hotel’s official social media account, where a photo of the joint meeting was shared. The meeting was held in the presence of Kaku Ahluwalia and all key partners of the hotel.

Those present at the meeting included Managing Director Dr. Paramjit Singh Marwah, Director Dr. Inderjit Singh Marwah, Director Gautam Kukreja, Director Dr. Gurkirpal Singh Marwah, and Director Dr. Gursimran Singh Marwah. The shared post stated that the Marwah brothers have now reached a compromise and have agreed to maintain cordial relations and work together peacefully going forward.

With this agreement, the long-running internal dispute linked to the hotel’s management is expected to come to an end, bringing relief to those associated with the business and putting a pause on the public controversy.
