With Jullundur Gymkhana Club’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) set for March 14, excitement is growing among those who want to hold key positions. According to reports, the date for electing new management will be announced at the meeting. The rulebook states that the election must happen within 45 days of this meeting.

This suggests that the election will likely occur in the last week of April. Several notable names are stepping up for the election race, including Tarun Sikka, Dheeraj Seth, Prof. Vipan Jhanji, and Amit Kukreja.

Limited to a maximum of 4,400 members and presently having about 4,320, this is one of the most elite clubs in the city. With so many families of the city being its members and politicians of any consequence, elections of the club management assume more than normal importance.

Both the candidates and local residents are eagerly awaiting the results.
