As per the information received, the accused was residing in the society as a tenant, has claimed to be related to a councilor so can make an influence.
There has been reported a firing incident outside Shaurya Green Apartments in Jalandhar. A renter allegedly opened fire at around 12:30 am following a late-night argument.
An accused has been identified as Ruby who reportedly is in the police custody.
As per the information received, the accused was residing in the society as a tenant, has claimed to be related to a councilor so can make an influence. The incident took place outside the residential area which has triggered the panic in an area.
The matter significantly is under investigation as the main cause of the dispute has not been analyzed yet. As per the eyewitnesses, the accused seemed drunk, was revealing abusive behavior before the situation escalated into firing.
Upon receiving information about the incident, police immediately reached the spot and detained the accused.
While talking to media, society even claimed the accused has done such behavior many of the times in past, was also involved in vandalizing vehicles within the premises.
