Two Students Killed, One Injured in Hit‑and‑Run Crash in Abohar

Deceased were the students of Class 11 who were returning on a motorcycle from their school while the accident happened. 

An accident occurred in Punjab’s Abohar took two lives and one another is reported injured. 

Two deceased individuals have been identified as the students of Government Senior Secondary School which is located on the Abohar-Malout stretch of the highway in Balluana. The accident spot is approximately 10 km far from Abohar.

Deceased were the students of Class 11 who were returning on a motorcycle from their school while the accident happened. 

How did the Car and Bike collapse?

A car being driven at a very high speed hit the bike, jumped over the driver. With such, the driver lost his control over the vehicle and then ran from the spot without reporting the accident. This is being considered as a hit and run case. 

After the collision, two of three students riding on the bike died on the spot and the third one was reported critically injured. He was immediately taken to the civil hospital in Abohar city. 

He later was referred to a higher facility considering his serious condition. 

Sources also reveal that as the car driver fled from the spot after the accident, the passerby took the victims to the hospital.

Who were the Deceased Individuals?

According to the reports, the deceased individuals; Karan and Rakesh have been identified as the residents of Ramgarh village. The one who is injured is identified as Prem, is also from the same village. 

Notably, after Prem got referred to the higher facility, he was taken to GGS Medical College Hospital in Faridkot.
