A significant Nagar Kirtan is taking place in Jalandhar for the 556th Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on the 1st of November.

A significant Nagar Kirtan is taking place in Jalandhar for the 556th Parkash Purab of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on the 1st of November.
The Nagar Kirtan will start at Gurdwara Shri Guru Singh Sabha, P. Mohalla Gobindgarh, and will extend through a long route encompassing S.D. College, Bharat Soda Factory, Railway Road, Mandi Phatakganj, Gurdwara Diwan Asthan Central Town, Milap Chowk, Phagwara Gate, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Panj Peer Chowk, Khingra Gate, Gurdwara Shri Singh Sabha, Adda Hoshiarpur, Mai Hira Gate, Bhagwan Valmiki Gate, Patel Chowk, Sabzi Mandi Chowk, Jail Chowk, Basti Adda Chowk, Bhagwan Valmiki Chowk (Jyoti Chowk), Rainak Bazaar and Milap Chowk.
Nagar Kirtan will end at Gurdwara Shri Diwan Asthan, Central Town.
With hundreds of devotees expected to attend the Nagar Kirtan procession, the Commissionerate Police, Jalandhar has made plans to divert traffic along the Nagar Kirtan procession route.
The traffic diversion will occur from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on November 1 to facilitate smooth, safe and uninterrupted traffic movement.
