Jalandhar Police Recover Two Missing Minor Girls, Two Suspects Arrested in Kathua

The police conducted a coordinated raid and recovered both the minor girls and arrested 2 suspects involved with Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir.

The Jalandhar Commissionerate Police, under the guidance of Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur, have successfully recovered two minor girls who were missing for some days.

Police Commissioner Dhanpreet Kaur disclosed that the FIR Number 281 dated 22nd of November, 2025, under the provisions of Section 137(2) BNS was registered at PS Division No. 8 Jalandhar for the disappearance of two minor girls aged 14 and 16 years respectively, who were en route to their home from school.

As per the reported information, the police team from PS Division No. 8, which was headed by Assistant Deputy Commissioner Of Police (ADCP-I) and Assistant Commissioner Of Police (North) of Jalandhar, immediately initiated an extensive inquiry followed by search operations across a wide range of locations.

The police conducted a coordinated raid and recovered both the minor girls and arrested 2 suspects involved with Kathua in Jammu and Kashmir.

The investigation continues at this time, and police are dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment for all citizens, & to taking strong action against anyone committing these types of crimes.
