According to Goa Police on Monday, Saurabh Luthra and Gaurav Luthra, the primary suspects and proprietors of the nightclub in Goa where a devastating fire resulted in 25 fatalities, escaped to Phuket shortly after the incident.
“Goa Police have enhanced their efforts to collaborate with the Interpol Division of the CBI to capture both Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra as soon as possible,” stated a senior police official.
Late Saturday night’s huge fire at the disco club about 25 km from Panaji has taken the lives of 25 people, 20 of whom worked there and five were tourists, four from Delhi.
There are five injured individuals currently being treated at the Government-run Goa Medical College & Hospital (GMCH).
The Bureau of Intelligence (BOI) issued a Look Out Circular for the accused at the request of Goa Police after registering an FIR against them by December 7, 2025.
The Mumbai Bureau of Immigration was reached out to, and it was discovered that the two suspects boarded the 6E 1073 flight to Phuket at 5:30 am on December 7, right after the fire event that happened around midnight, according to the officer.
