Based on information obtained, Ravi Sobti left on Thursday evening to pick up a migrant woman who works in his home from village Mahalo but did not come back.

Ravi Sobti, vice president of Nawanshahr Traders’ Association, has been reported murdered in a manner described as being horrifically violent. This has caused panic and sorrow among the traders and community members in the town.
Sobti was last seen Thursday evening and his family filed a ‘missing person’ report with local law enforcement once he had not returned home.
Based on technical surveillance and tracking his phone location, the police discovered his body in the Balachaur area under distressing circumstances.
Based on information obtained, Ravi Sobti left on Thursday evening to pick up a migrant woman who works in his home from village Mahalo but did not come back.
The police were unable to locate Sobti’s location after he was reported missing by his family until his remains were discovered following an extensive overnight search. Investigators discovered Sobti’s corpse inside a vehicle parked within the vicinity of Balachaur, where he had sustained multiple severe injuries inflicted from sharp-edged implements.
Also, in what appears to have been a means to eliminate any potential evidence against himself, the legit accused also attempted to incinerate Sobti’s remains once they had been placed on the summer-seat of the vehicle.
According to early investigations of the crime scene, it is believed that Sobti was murdered when he returned back to Nawanshahr, and thereafter, the legal entertainments would transport his corpse back to the area of Balachaur to dispose of it.
The vehicle has been seized by the police, and the body was sent to the Civil Hospital for post mortem examination.
Sources with knowledge of the situation indicated that law enforcement has apprehended several migrants related to the homicide and is questioning them to determine the reason for the offense.
A case has been registered, and ongoing investigations aim to determine the timeline of occurrences and assign responsibility.
