Sacrificial Week of Chaar Sahibzaade: Not just a story but a Teardropping History

Chaar Sahibzaade were the four sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The martyrdom of all these four sons in a single week during the battle of Chamkaur.

Chaar Sahibzaade were the four sons of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The martyrdom of all these four sons in a single week during the battle of Chamkaur. This battle was fought between Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji And Wazir Khan, basically between Khalsa and Mughals. 

Wazir Khan ordered the sikh community to convert into Islam, as he was then the Governor of Sirhind. Great Guru Gobind Singh Ji refused to change his religion which became a reason for the second battle of Chamkaur. 

The History of Chaar Sahibzaade During Reign of Wazir Khan

The four sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji were the part of this battle namely- Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh. All of them sacrificed their lives to save Sikhism. 

Shahibzaada Ajit Singh Ji

He was the eldest of all four brothers, he is considered as very intelligent and also was a master in archery and horse riding. He fought with the Mughals with full enthusiasm but the mughals killed him. He fought with bravery and killed major parts of their army but sacrificed his life at the age of 18 years. 

Sahibzaada Jujhar Singh Ji

He was the second son of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Jeeto ji. Jujhar Singh ji fought with full bravery and killed many soldiers from the enemy army. He was only 14 years old when he sacrificed his life for the khalsa. 

Sahibzade Zorawar and Fateh Singh Ji

They  were the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Mata Gujri was the grandmother. They all were imprisoned on the execution of Wazir khan, he ordered to kill the chotte Sahibzaade by cutting their heads off, on failed attempt, the enemy army bricked them. After this, they tortured Mata Gujri and she left for heavenly abode. 

After this, Diwan Todar Mall purchased the land with gold and cremation was done of all three at Fatehgarh Sahib, It is considered as the most valuable event till date. 

After this, Guru Gobind Singh Ji wrote Zafarnama to Aurangzeb and said he killed his four sons but still could not end Khalsa.
