All schools will be closed from 01/01/2026 to 15/01/2026.
In addition, the School Education Directorate located in Panchkula has sent a formal notice to the District Education Officers and all other district elementary education officers regarding the holiday observance. The office’s memorandum presents specific guidelines regarding the observance and enforcement of holidays for each authority.
The School Education Directorate does recognise that students in Class 10 and Class 12 may be required to come to school for practical exams during the Winter Vacation observance according to the scheduled timeframe established by the appropriate State and Local Education Administrations, namely CBSE, ICSE, and other Boards of Education.
This regulation will be enforced strictly for board classes only.
As stated by the School Education Department, the choice was made considering the winter weather conditions, focusing on ensuring the health and safety of students. The directive has been released by the Assistant Director (Academics) representing the Director of Secondary Education, Haryana.
