The female was allegedly given alcohol, and then the six men raped her repeatedly, beating her to severe physical damage.

A report of a horrific gang rape that occurred at Dagarua, in Purnia District, in Bihar has been released. A female victim was allegedly abducted and repeatedly abused by six men after being forcibly taken from the road. The woman is in serious, unstable condition and is being treated at GMCH in Purnia.
According to authorities, the female was headed home from Nevlal Chowk, when she was stopped by a four-wheeler. Six men reportedly forced her into the vehicle, and drove her to a remote location, Joya Traders in Bariyar Chowk, where she was held against her will overnight.
The female was allegedly given alcohol, and then the six men raped her repeatedly, beating her to severe physical damage. After the assault all but one of her rapists fled the scene.
The remaining suspect, Mohammad Junaid, was asleep on the property after being intoxicated during the attack. Despite being in critical condition, the female managed to obtain Junaid’s cell phone, and managed to call (dial) the emergency number, 112.
A police Dagarua Station responded to the scene promptly. The room was locked from inside. When police entered the room, they did, they discovered the victim lying unconscious in a pool of blood, with the accused sleeping close by. Mohammad Junaid was taken into custody at that time.
The victim was sent to the Purnia General Hospital for treatment, whereupon it was determined that there were six other individuals involved in this case: one was apprehended, while five remain at large. Specialized police teams have been established to locate and apprehend these individuals.
