‘Gangsters te Vaar’: CP Dhanpreet Kaur Leads Operation, 70 Detained in Jalandhar

As part of CM Mann’s ‘Gangsters te Vaar’ campaign, CP Dhanpreet Kaur supervised raids in Jalandhar, held 70.

The Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s Punjab government initiated a simultaneous action against gangsters: ‘Gangsters te Vaar’ on Tuesday.

As part of this campaign, the police under the command of Jalandhar Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur detained 70 people. The operation was carried out in Garha area of Jalandhar today.

Regarding the incident, CP Dhanpreet Kaur briefed that in line with the Chief Minister’s objective to get rid of gangsterism in the state, 50 gang members were caught yesterday and 15 out of them were sent to jail.

The operation was headed by an officer of the ADCP rank and was joined by 200 police personnel. Throughout the exercise, police carried out the raids at different sites, During those raids, 70 people were gathered. It is said that after thorough questioning, they will proceed with their actions.

DGP Gaurav Yadav, who spoke at a press conference yesterday, expressed and indicated that the police force was successful in their operations against the drugs and, therefore, this initiative has been taken to deal with land management gangs. It is reported that this scheme will be carried out with the help of the high-tech gadgets.

‘Gangsters te Vaar’: a fight against gangsterism

A helpline of 9394 693 946 has been launched so that people can call in any information that would lead to the gangsters or their associates. He persuaded the residents of Punjab to stand beside gangsters in the same way they did with the drug battle.
