Punjab & Sind Bank has officially invited online applications for the recruitment of Local Bank Officers (LBO) across India. This major recruitment drive aims to fill 1,000 positions, offering a lucrative career path for banking aspirants with a maximum monthly salary reaching approximately Rs 85,920.

As per the recruitment details, there are total 1000 vacancies. These vacancies are in different states which are as follows-

  • Uttar Pradesh: 200 Posts
  • Gujarat: 125 Posts
  • Punjab: 100 Posts
  • Himachal Pradesh: 20 Posts

The Applications reportedly are open for 20 days that is from March 31, 2026 to April 20, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria and Procedure to Apply

To apply for these positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: A graduation degree in any stream from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum 18 months of experience in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank (RRB).
  • Age Limit: Between 20 and 30 years. Candidates must not be born before 1996 or after March 1, 2006. Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD) will receive age relaxations of 3 to 5 years as per government norms.

Successful candidates will be placed in a pay scale ranging from Rs 48,480 to Rs 85,920. The application fee for the exam are as follows-

  • Application Fee (General/OBC): Rs 850
  • Application Fee (SC/ST/PWD): Rs 100
