Baltej Pannu mentioned, “Municipal Councillor and Akali leader Jagjit Singh Jeeta has been detained for allegedly operating a sex racket at his hotel.” During the police raid, several girls were found at the spot, including a minor.

AAP Punjab State Media In-charge Baltej Pannu on Thursday questioned the conduct and history of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), asserting that the party’s history indicates a troubling pattern of activities.
In a video message, AAP Punjab State Media In-charge Baltej Pannu stated, “The pain Punjab facedunder the Akali-BJP government from 2007 to 2017 is significant. Akali leaders’ direct involvement was apparentin every area, from the illegal drug trade andcable mafia to the bus business and the promotion of gangster culture. Today, once more, their hideous visage has been revealed to the public.
In a recent incident in Moga, Baltej Pannu mentioned, “Municipal Councillor and Akali leader Jagjit Singh Jeeta has been detained for allegedly operating a sex racket at his hotel.” During the police raid, several girls were found at the spot, including a minor, which is extremely heartbreaking and deeply concerning.”
He added that the property where the illegal activities were being carried out is owned by Jagjit Singh Jeeta himself, raising serious concerns about accountability. Questioning the silence of the Akali Dal leadership, Baltej Pannu said, “Even after so many hours since the arrest, why has no senior Akali leader issued any statement? Does their silence amount to direct support for criminals?”
Taking aim at the Akali Dal’s ongoing campaign, Baltej Pannu said, “During the so-called ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’ in Moga, photographs of Jagjit Singh Jeeta with senior Akali leaders have surfaced. Is this how they intend to save Punjab? Those whose hands are stained with activities that push innocent girls into darkness have no right to talk about saving Punjab.”
He also mentioned, “In a prior sex scandal that came to light in Moga, several high-ranking Akali leaders were implicated as well. “This clearly indicates that the party has turned into a center of unethical actions and unlawful enterprises.
Addressing the public directly, Baltej Pannu remarked, “Currently, Punjab requires rescue not from external forces, but from individuals motivated by personal greed and self-interest, who have not shied away from engaging in wrongful acts.”
Reaffirming the Bhagwant Mann Government’s dedication to maintaining law and order, he stated, “The AAP administration under Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will not overlook any criminal, regardless of their power.”
